Making pottery is a 200 year old tradition. Some of the finest clay and potters are right here 5 miles from Asheboro. The museum strives to educate folks about the history and beauty of the pottery made in around Seagrove, NC. They provide maps of the potters locations. I believe there are over 110 pottery shops in this small pottery town.
