A great park centrally located to many Asheville attractions. There are wood chips for falls. There is a track around the playground. Restrooms are on-site and this park offers plenty of shade.

Carrier Park is where Asheville locals go to take a stroll along the river, lay in the grass, play with their dog, or take part in a giant full-contact padded weaponry battle. Yes, you read that right. On Sundays, a group called the Asheville Medieval Collective meets to do LARP warfare, and you can watch the battles unfold, or join in if you want to see what it's like to do battle with a giant foam sword. Thankfully not everything in Carrier Park is full-contact, as it's a great place to relax and enjoy the quieter side of Asheville as well. The park is also in the middle of a greenway if you're looking for a long distance trail to run on.

Beautiful Greenway along the river connects into River arts District. Nice place to take bikes go on a run or a stroll.

Great place to take your dog(s) and walk along the French Broad river. A superb greenway and iconic Asheville staple. Also, there’s a dog park right across the road.
