Rent a boat, and cruise the lake. It's the first of 6 lakes in the Tallulah watershed, and boasts amazing views, fishing, boating, and relaxing. The Fireworks on July 4th are spectacular.

There is a small beach on Lake Burton but the best way to see it is to rent a pontoon. See Anchorage Marine or Lake Burton Boat Rentals.
