One of Brisbane's most iconic independent bookstores. They have a great selection and the staff are wonderfully helpful. There is a kitchen and cafe located instore, with a lovely dining area in the garden out the back. Avid also host regular instore events, such as talks, readings and book signings. Friendly, welcoming local bookshop with knowledgable staff, many of them writers. Avid regularly host author talks which attract Brisbane's literature lovers.
