Bignor Roman Villa is a large Roman courtyard villa which has been excavated and put on public display on the Bignor estate. It is well known for its high quality mosaic floors, which are some of the most complete and intricate in the country

A brilliant walkable (along some road) attraction with plenty of Roman things to look at! In August there is a sunflower maze and throughout the year there are regular events. Check out social media for the latest

Less well-known than Fishbourne Roman Villa, and smaller, but possibly better (my view). Also not far from Yaffle Cottage!

Beautiful situation below the South Downs near the village of Sutton. Enjoy the Roman mosaics and then explore Roman Stanes Street as it climbs over the Downs towards Chichester.
