Nice village in the route of the withe villages. The road from Velez-Malaga up to Cómpeta is a wonderful route for cycling.

If you drive from “KM 7” towards Cómpeta (to the left) you will arrive in a short time past a restaurant “Pavo Real”. This restaurant is run by English and is unfortunately not very recommendable. But you can have a drink quite well there. Worth it rather the way all the way to Cómpeta. In Cómpeta there is a large parking lot in the city center generally should always head for. From there everything is always very easy to reach (restaurant, supermarket, Market place etc.).

Beautiful pueblo blanco only 15 minutes away. Classic Andalucian architecture and lots of good restaurants. Easter week is of cultural significance with processions carrying religious icons throughout the village. Fascinating to watch.

Competa is fascinating to explore with its labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets that date back to Moorish times and spectacular views. The town is located about 40 mins from Torre so ideal for a day trip, as well as an overnight stay for those who want to explore the area further or continue their journey into the province of Granada. The end of January, early Febuary is the Almond blossom season, visit then to see beauiful landscapes in Competa and the surrounding villages
