If you're looking for a more cardio hike, to the top of Mount Ozzard is a 10km up/down. You need a truck or higher grounded car to get to the trail head as it is along a dirt road full of pot holes and rough rocks. (I took my Mini Cooper to the trailhead once and ended up at the shop ;(. The hike itself is along the access road to get to the tower at the top so its not an overly exciting trail but the views at the top make up for it. If it is a foggy day - don't bother!

Ozzard is a bit of a hidden gem. Perhaps you've been here 5+ times already, and never heard of this hike - it's a rewarding (albeit exhausting) hike up the peak towering above the Ucluelet harbour. You'll be stunned by the gorgeous view of the Broken Group Islands - a popular kayaking destination 🏝

It's not the best hiking trail (basically a dirt road) but it has fantastic views at the top! 1.5hrs (ish) to the top if walking.
