So many overlooks. This region has the highest points on the BRP. Absolutely stunning! You don't have to drive all the way to Cherokee to see some amazing spots. From MV, you can hop on right outside of town, turn south off Hwy 19 onto the Parkway and hit amazing overlooks in minutes. In my opinion, the best overlooks.

about 2 miles north is the entrance to the blue ridge parkway. This is a wonderful scenic drive with many places to pull off locations to enjoy incredible view and have a nice picinic. Go as far east or west as you like. This parkway leads all the way to Cherokee NC

A must to take a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway for amazing views, trails, waterfalls, fishing, swimming, hiking! Going left from our cabin on to Soco Rd HWY 19 out of Maggie Valley you will come to the town of Cherokee where they offer entertainment at the Harrahs Casino. Travel from there to Bryson City to take a ride on the Smokey Mountain Railroad.
