There are TONS of beaches super close by, but Balboa Island has it all!! There’s a lovely boardwalk that encircles the island and is a nice, easy walk with the ocean on one side and multi-million dollar beach homes mere feet away on the other side! The parking is easier to find (free parking) and the island tends to be less crowded than the mainland beaches!

Morning, noon and night it’s great strolling around the island. There’s shopping, food, and amazing views. The entire loop is 2.5 miles. Balboa Island is a gem that you’ll want to keep going back to.

One of the most exclusive neighborhoods in California, you’ll walk along the calming neighborhood of Newport Beach and discover a Bluth’s frozen banana or a nice beach front meal.

Great place to walk down near the water. Walk the Perimeter of the island in 45 minutes to an hour. Take Jamboree all the way down to the island. Street parking is free. Flowers are always beautiful. At Christmas, the lights are epic. Great place to watch the Christmas holiday Boat Parade. (near December 15th for 7 days).
