The sculptures are easy to find, mostly along Borrego Springs Road, north or south of Christmas Circle. Just go north on Borrego Springs Road from Christmas Circle to see the most amazing sculpture, the serpent. You should not have any trouble finding him or other sculptures that are nearby. The Serpent, is only about 2 miles or so from the Ocotillo Casita, so you don’t have to go far to find us.

Feel like taking a drive to check out some metal sculptures in the beautiful Borrego Springs area? Nothing fancy, just some sculptures and the love of driving along with a lot of desert.

Just over the hills of Valley Center, to the east, are the Galleta Meadows Sculptures of Borrego Springs. Anza Borrego is true desert hiking, so make sure you take your water bottle! 130 enormous sculptures pop up out of the dry desert floor in unexpected places. There are many maps online to guide you to each one. These are larger than life and a lot of fun to take photos of. A permanent art installment, they are rusty but magnificent, and there are no restrictions or ropes - you can walk right up and touch them, if you like. Dinosaurs and Jeeps and horses and dragons... they've got it all out there.

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park with it’s 130 metal sculptures will blow your mind! Not recommended in summer time, but a fun day trip during the cooler months. Kids love the sculptures.

This is the must see and the place to take your social media picture during your visit to Borrego Springs. 350-feet long and stretching on both sides of the road, the sculputure is amazingly intricate, beautiful far away, the detail is amazing. This all began which the owner of the Galleta Meadows Estate, Dennis Avery, decided he really wanted to add a bunch of free standing art to his massive property. He enlisted the help of Ricardo Breceda who began crafting these amazing sculptures and they started to pop up around the desert. Mr. Breceda often claims that he is done creating the sculptures but then another one pops up in the barren landscape and the speculation continues.
