This is one of our favorite outdoor shops in Asheville. This privately owned location is akin to REI but in our option, curated with only the best in outdoor gear and cool clothing. They even have a bar in store so you can enjoy a cold beer while you shop!

You will pay full retail, but you gain in getting your outdoor clothing and gear right away when you need it. And you save on shipping. I often order from REI online, but I like to patronize Black Dome as much as possible.
