This is a very old Mexican restaurant. Sort of a hip scene, you can often see minor celebrities eating the homestyle cooking and drinking the strong margaritas. Kitschy decor with waitresses wearing authentic-looking Mexican dresses.

This place is a family owned LA treasure within walking distance. For the past 75 years, they have been serving strong drinks and consistent food. Expect to wait! Great people watching!
