Swimming hole that you can access at the end of Poripori road. You need to cross the river and follow the track down a bit to find the water hole, ask a local if you cant find it!

The Bays best known freshwater swimming spot! This place gets the sun all day long and has water of varying depths to cater for everyone. The rocks get nice and toasty for sunbathing and watching the adventurous ones divebomb in!

such a beautiful spot a little difficult to get to but worth it. Suitable for older families.

Not accessible when the river is running, but a great spot for a fresh water swim. Lots of rocks to jump off. Its about a 10 min walk from the carpark and requires a river crossing at the very start. Then just follow the track.
