The last Tuesday of every month at The Virgil, Warp Zone is a free show that gets some of the biggest alternative comedy stars: Pete Holmes, T.J. Miller, a lot of guys from Comedy Bang! Bang!, Kamail Nanjiani who’s on Silicon Valley. It’s a New Yorky-feeling club—as if the independent comedy audience from Brooklyn was brought in to Silver Lake. Tuesdays the happy hour begins at 7 p.m. and goes late night.

Every Monday night they have a standup comedy night hosted by Kristin Shaw, and if you line up at 6:30pm you can get tacos and eat them in line, then you'll get in even if it's sold out and sit in the 3rd row or farther back. Do not sit in the first two rows because comedians always mess with those people, unless that sounds fun! Amazing local talent. Really cool cozy bar with fantastic standup comedy.
