Oaxaca's FAVORITE ride. A must do while you're here! Join this beautiful and safe bike ride to see the massive and ancient "El Tule" tree, which is famous for being the WIDEST tree in the world. We'll also visit the town of "Santa Maria del Tule", its church and its market. This is a GUIDED ride and we'll provide you with a BIKE, HELMET, TOOL KIT. We'll meet in Oaxaca city to start our journey to El Tule tree (45 min. bicycle ride from downtown [10 km or 6 miles one way]). We'll ride on a nice bike lane covered with tree shades for the most part. It's mostly flat. We'll start biking out of the city first, then towards the outskirts with views of beautiful hills, and crop fields. Once we arrive to Santa Maria, we'll take you to the tree the colorful church and the beautiful lush gardens. Here you'll LEARN interesting facts and history about the tree. Then, we'll have time to visit the food market to grab a bite/drink and to walk around the square. Finally, we'll start our ride back to Oaxaca. La Clase de Cocina Oaxaqueña Vegetariana, haremos un recorrido por un hermoso barrio tradicional de Oaxaca, te prestare un “chiquigüite y mandil” ocupado para ir al mercado tradicionalmente, haremos un recorrido por el barrio de la Merced, pasaremos pos las iglesias más bonitas y caminaremos por parques reguardados por bellos arboles, casas de cantera rosa, verde y amarilla, te mostraré parques bellos del barrio colonial y secretos de esta zona de la ciudad. The tour starts at the middle of the afternoon at the pier in Urca near to Bar urca. We will sail by the Fortress of São João, Fortress Laje and Fortress Santa Cruz, and close to the Island of Boa Viagem in Niterói. There will be one stop point at Adão e Eva beach or Praia Vermelha, perfect for picture taking and if you are interested to swim! Then we will pass by the Museum of Contemporary Art and sail back with the amazing view of the sunset on the horizon. There are gorgeous views of Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer throughout the ride, as they are central to the scenery of Rio's coast. Participa en una visita inolvidable al Santuario Animal Namigni, uno de los santuarios de vacas más grande del mundo y el más grande santuario de animales de granja en Latinoamérica. En un recorrido único, conocerás las historias de los animales rescatados y protegidos en el santuario, quizás Manuela (la oveja que se cree perra) nos acompañará recorriendo los senderos, muy probablemente encontrarás el grupo de "terneros sin ley" por el camino, verás las imponentes vacas de lidia que acá protegemos, y conocerás muchos más animales extraordinarios que se benefician de la protección del santuario. Primero nos encontraremos en el barrio de las independencias en el sector 20 de julio, este es el barrio que cuenta con la mayor cantidad de arte callejero (Graffitis) en todo Medellin, en ese sector te empezaremos a explicar la historia a través de los diversos murales y obras de arte callejero. En la parte alta del sector te enseñare uno de los mejores miradores que hay en este lugar donde podrás observar gran parte de la ciudad de Medellin. We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. After booking our experiences, you will arrive at our kitchen where you will be very welcome and where you will share a good time with an authentic Costa Rican family. Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. Our day starts by meeting at our office located 20 min away from Liberia downtown through the small villages of Colorado and Curubande. We count with two parking lots at our location in Curubande where you can leave your car safe while we do the hike. From Curubande we will take a 4WD for 1 km that will take us to the entrance of the waterfall trail and here is where the hike begins. The waterfall is well hidden away on the outskirts of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano . The trail is 1.3 Miles (2 Kilometers) singletrack so together it is 4 km. There are some climbing to do in elevation and some caves to go across. Later to reach the waterfall we have to swim 25 meters through a beautiful turquoise river canyon. This is a local experience that takes place where the Blanco and the Colorado rivers cross through, forming canyons and beautiful scenery which is why the water in their pools have that special turquoise tint.

La caminata a la Laguna Humantay durará 1 hora y media aproximadamente observando el bello paisaje hasta llegar a la bellísima laguna turquesa. Then we will get to work, each one preparing their own mate, under our supervision and accompaniment. Then you will have a mate prepared by yourselves. Pedra do Sal is one of the nicest spots in the area known as Little Africa. A las 9:30 am te recogerán en Medellín. Durante el trayecto podrás admirar espectaculares paisajes y espacios naturales. A las 10:00 am haremos una breve pausa en el camino para disfrutar de un rico desayuno tradicional, acompañado de unas vistas panorámicas inmejorables sobre Medellín y sus alrededores. Alrededor de las 10:45 am llegaremos a San Félix, donde dará inicio esta increíble aventura. En primer lugar, recibirás una lección preparatoria para el vuelo por parte de un equipo de especialistas, así como, el equipamiento necesario para realizar la actividad. A continuación, sobrevolarás de 15 a 20 minutos aproximadamente el Valle del Aburrá. Vivirás sensaciones únicas y emocionantes mientras vuelas sobre este extraordinario enclave natural, ubicado entre montañas. - We will be exploring the 500 year old walled city of Old San Juan, discovering secret corners and little-known spots full of charm and steeped in history, that remain unnoticed to the casual visitor. We will walk through Old San Juan’s blue cobblestoned streets, accompanied by a knowledgeable local architect, learning about how the city was built in this rocky island jutting out to the sea, observing the urban layout, constructive methods and architectural details of the Spanish colonial buildings and defensive structures. In this 2 hour stroll you'll experience historical architecture with an insider, not just as a tourist, since we will be visiting private residences, convents and places with limited access. You'll have a chance to peer into underground cisterns, wonder at frescoed chapels, climb rooftops to explore hidden towers, and basque in secluded Spanish patios. Other things to note Tour leaves SHARP at departure time. Please allow extra time to find parking and meeting location. Participants need to check in 10 m before tour starting time. (opcional para el que se anime.) también depende de condiciones climáticas y seguridad. 4- Visita para ver o comprar souvenirs con los indígenas Malekus. 5- Con el brazalete que le entregamos, tendrá derecho de entrada a las piscinas de Montaña de Fuego Resort, ubicado frente a nuestro lugar. Si hace el tour de las 3pm y quiere hacer uso de piscinas, debe pagar un taxi de regreso. Nuestro ultimo transporte es a las 5:15pm. The meeting point of the bike tour is in La Parroquia de San Joaquin every day at 9:30 am or 3:00 Pm, there you will meet your guide and the rest of the group. You will cycle around 15 kilometers in the most spectacular places in Medellin! , hidden parks, famous squares, churchs and the best view point in the middle of Medellin. The local guide will tell you a lot of history and information about each place, it is a local guide and he can answer any doubt you have!!
