Sightseeing

Erskine Falls is a popular tourist spot and has some beautiful waterfalls, lots of ferns and amazing scenery. It is 30 metres tall and although visiting it just after rainfall is ideal, It is also particularly refreshing on a nice hot summers day. There is also a short walk through the forest to another waterfall if you are feeling in the mood.

Teddy's lookout has the most amazing views which stretch up and down the coast and across to the bushland. It is one of the most famous lookouts along the Great Ocean Road where you can look down and see the GOR curving around the bends. There are also several more short bush walks you can take from here.

The Lorne Pier is a great spot to visit especially if you like fishing. There are generally several groups of people trying their luck for a good catch. The views are also spectacular across the bay as well as looking back towards the town. There is also a resident seal who hangs around the end of the pier looking for dinner and several stingrays floating around at the side of the pier. If that's not enough, in the warmer weather there are generally teenagers jumping off the pier into the ocean so there is definately plenty to see there.
