Red Rocks is an absolute must see while in the Denver area! By far the best concert venue in the world. During the day Red Rocks Amphitheater is open to the public and has a great museum. There are also several great trails in the park but be sure to bring your water!

Entertainment & Activities
Easy drive from Denver for great skiing/snowboarding! The lift tickets are cheap and can easily be bought off of Craigslist. The free ski cat rides to the top of the Continental divide to bomb the bowls are awesome!

One of my favorite mountains in Colorado and the oldest resort in the state. The Winter Park side is family friendly while the Mary Jane side offers great intermediate and expert terrain! Only 60 miles from Denver! Starting in January the legendary ski train will run on the weekends from Union Station which is one light rail stop away from our home directly to the Winter Park village. The ski train is a great way to see beautiful Colorado without being stuck for hours on 1-70. https://www.amtrak.com/winterparkexpress
