Seven Clans is a woman owned microbrewery that has recently opened and is not far from our listing. It has a great vibe and some awesome beers. They also often have a food truck on site.

One of our favorite, small microbreweries nearby, and off the beaten path. Bear's BBQ is on site with delicious food. We recommend the Brisket Nachos to go along with the West Coast IPA.

This is a must visit spot while you are in Asheville. It's home the working studios and galleries of hundreds of local artists. There are also coffee shops, and restaurants to grab something to eat or drink, as well as an independent movie house to catch a film. Be sure to visit Marquee while you are in the district - a design centric market place of curated vendors. You can purchase a beer or wine inside and enjoy it while you stroll around.

The Grove Park Inn was built in 1913 and is famous for its distinctive undulating red clay tile roof. It's a great place for gorgeous, sunset views. There are several restaurants located within along with a bar in the lobby that has 24 foot ceilings and two gigantic 36 foot stone fireplaces. The Spa located on the premises is nationally renowned. The National Gingerbread House Competition is held there every November and you can see the previous years winners on display year round.
