Sailing in the Bay of Islands
Departing from the Russell Wharf at 10am, we will sail out to one of the 144 islands that are only accessible by boat. On the way there we will do our best to spot our local wildlife; dolphins, penguins, sharks and our wonderful array of seabirds. Once on the island, we will spend an hour or two beach combing, hiking, kayaking, snorkelling or simply lounging in the sun! Since the Islands are bird conservation sites we will hopefully even spot a few native rare birds! After having a fresh lunch on board, we will then sail back to the Russell wharf to arrive around 330pm. Other things to note We need you to be at the Russell wharf at 9:45am for the safety briefing. Departure is at 10am, please don't be late. Like the saying "the ship has sailed", it will!
Packrafting Queenstown- License to chill
Our day hiking and paddling through the NZ backcountry starts in Queenstown. After picking you guys up, we'll set off on a gorgeous drive towards the rural town of Glenorchy. After a quick pit stop we'll leave civilisation behind and disappear down a dirt road into the Rees Valley. The road less travelled if you like. Once the road runs out, we'll start hiking. I'll provide you with a backpack and all the gear you'll need for our packrafting adventure. The hike itself is flat, very easy going and jaw dropingly beautiful. We'll hike beneath glacier cover peaks, flanked by waterfalls and through an alluvial river valley where we often see more deer than humans. We're fortunate enough to have exclusive access to this working farm for our trips. We're a long way from the madding crowds. We'll walk for around 2hrs. Expect to get your feet wet as we cross the river a few times. We'll stop for hearty lunch at a small creek where our paddling journey starts. After a inflating our packrafts, we'll spend some time exploring canyons and practicing our paddling before taking to the main river. Packrafting along the Rees river is a relaxing and liberating experience. The river is reasonably flat and extremely beginner friendly. Everyone has their own packraft to explore and drift down stream. After an hour or so we'll be back where we started, ready to roll our boats up and head home. Other things to note No experience is required, you'll be with fully qualified instructors all day who can teach you everything you'll need to know.

Have a relaxing walk with amazing views and fun stories
You can’t travel New Zealand without visiting the best beach in the country (we’re not making it up - check out what TripAdvisor has to say). If that’s not enough to entice you - discover why Mount Maunganui - or The Mount, as locals refer to it, has been the summertime destination of choice among kiwi families for generations. Our short walk will go around and up the Mount, where we can enjoy the views of the beach paradise. This is the perfect activity to stretch your legs, relax, and soak up the sun (which is very hot in summer, make sure you bring sun protection!) and enjoy some of the local stories, culture and knowledge. Get also any tips on other activities to do in the Bay of Plenty. We will finish the walk with an ice-cream, coffee or drink included in the tour!
