Make Edible Flower Foods and Feast while Enjoying Local Wine
Guests will be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, and then we will dive right into the world of Edible Flowers! While touring the Global Village Permaculture Demonstration Garden guests will learn about the important and valuable role flowers play in a backyard food forest garden. You will pick a variety of edible flowers and herbs and then you are off to the prep area where you will begin creating edible flower spring rolls and flower foccaccia. While preparing and eating our delicious and beautiful lunch (which will include a glass of local wine or homemade soda), we will discuss a number of other uses for flowers in the garden and you will learn how to make teas, balms, and even shampoo.

Day Hike in Lake Louise
After meeting in Lake Louise at 8:00 am, we'll complete an orientation and head off on the trails with a certified guide. This tour includes brief stops to admire local flora, fauna and learn about the history and geology of the region. We'll pass by three lakes and a tea house along the way, all while summiting a peak. A great way to spend the day! Private two hour sail on Okanagan Lake Kelowna
We will meet at the yacht, get everyone comfortable and review safety equipment and procedures. Next, we will depart and hoist the sails! Guests may participate as much or as little as they want. Once sailing, guests will be able to relax and enjoy the experience or help trim the sails. The quiet of sailing will enhance views of the city, the floating bridge, waterfront homes and beaches from the boat, along with possible wildlife sightings. Options to take a swim in Okanagan Lake are dependent on tour selection. We will then make our way back to the dock with smiles all around. It’s quite possible the guests may have discovered a new interest as a result! Other things to note GST 5% Included in price Tours are weather dependent so may need to be rescheduled on occasion. We start our experience at the Toonie Tours & Rentals | Calgary HQ and make our way to Bottlescrew Bills Pub & Brewery. We'll get acquainted and enjoy a flight of 4 x 4oz tasters of their top-notch beer. You'll meet, get settled and learn about the brewery, the brewing process, and some interesting Beer-Factoids. After a "cheers" you hit the streets and discover a hidden gem of Calgary! Through some twists and turns, you'll experience the perfect route to the best Street Art that Calgary has to offer. It's an easy walk outside that will inspire you and get you excited for our next brewery; Trolley 5 Brewpub. This place is hopping, in the heart of The Red Mile, and with quality beers it's a must when visiting Calgary. You'll enjoy a variety flight of 5 x 4oz tasters of their tasty beer, while taking in the energy of 17th Avenue, one of Calgary's most lively streets. Next, we'll get back outside and finish off the tour with another set of incredible murals from artist's like: Faith XLVII, Ola Volo, AlfAlfA, Labrona, and many more! Our stops will include the beautiful town of Canmore, Lake Minnewanka which Banff's largest lake, Two Jack Lake which offers breathtaking scenery anytime of the day. Lake Louise will definitely show off its natural glamour, and the many sights along the way will help to create a lifetime memory. You will have plenty of time to shop and taste the local flavours at the Town of Banff where you just might even find Bigfoot! We will also showcase a couple of our favourite places in between stops From mid June to mid October you will stop at the spectacular and must see Moraine Lake! This is my favourite summer lake in all of the parks, you'll feel as if you are seeing heaven on earth as we drive through the Valley of the Ten Peaks! This experience is about wowing you all day! We'll adapt your day according to wildlife sightings, weather conditions, and traffic flow for better enjoyment. Our small groups are up to 10 guests and your day will last 10 to 12 hours depending on the season. Your adventure will start from the moment we pick you up in Downtown Calgary or Canmore, until we drop you off again at the end of the day! If you need to be dropped off in Banff at the end of the tour we can gladly accommodate you and a small piece of luggage.

Fly Fishing, float the Bow River or walk and wade mtn stream
We cater to the new fly fisher or that experienced angler. The trip includes, fly fishing instruction, equipment discussion, casting instruction, reading the water, what fish eat and what flies to use, how to fight and land fish on a fly rod. We will take you on a float trip down the Bow River to catch large Rainbow and Brown Trout. During the float trip we may encounter Golden and Bald eagles, Blue Herron, King fishers, Pelicans along with several other bird species. Moose, deer, Fishers and beavers are a regular site. It is also possible to see Buffalo jumps used by indigenous peoples that took advantage of the steep cliffs to kill and flat benches to process the downed Buffalo. If you prefer a hike we can take you to some of the most beautiful mountain streams in North America to catch Westslope Cutthroat trout. Wildlife observed during a mountain trip include deer, elk, bears, mink, fishers, big horn sheep and mountain goats. We will share our knowledge and teach you how to fly fish our Alberta rivers and streams. The Bow River experience has a minimum charge of $700/day/boat with a maximum capacity of two anglers per boat. Additional boats can be arranged with a min 2 weeks notice. The Mountain Stream experience minimum charge is $700/day with a maximum capacity of two anglers per guide. Additional guides can be arranged with 2 weeks notice.
