You’re not going to get the most exotic beers at this neighborhood dive bar, but the selection is solid and sometimes your friends just want to drink without being all fussy about it. I go there before 7 or 8pm—after that, the place gets loud. I even find myself texting friends I’m with rather than trying to talk to them. Definitely in the afternoon and early evening. Never too late unless you want a sore throat the next day.
