Small hole in the wall Texas BBQ spot. Been serving up amazing food for years and are still kickin. Hands down the best BBQ in the entire area. They are smoking and grilling all day, so everything is straight from the pit.

Calhoun's is hidden away in historic downtown Murrieta, about 10 miles away but worth the drive if you want to enjoy a real Texas-style barbecue. Their brisket and baby back ribs are their best sellers. They close at 8 p.m. and if you get there closer to closing you will have to order from what's left. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Best barbeque in the west. Awesome take out, dinning area is very very limited. HIghly recommend this food.
