Many places in Normandy commemorate the D Day Landings and the final fight against the Nazis in the second world war. Arromanches has the famous Mulberry Harbour and a wonderful museum which brings this to life for those from following generations. Good restaurants, wonderful views and poignant reminders of how we became who we are today.
