Shhhhh, don't tell anyone but there is a mini "sliding rock" in Cove Creek camp ground that is perfect for little ones. From the gate walk about a third of a mile, pass the field, and look to the right.

Wonderful loop trail out of this campground (Caney Creek trail) as well as access to what I call "Little Sliding Rock." Trail passes Cove Creek Falls. Out house bathrooms are available. Parking is available at the bottom of the gated road (gated road is for access to the campground only - others must walk up the road to the trailhead) on the National Forest Road 475. Cove Creek empties into Searcy Creek and another great swimming hole is on the other side of FR 475. Daniel Ridge Falls trailhead and parking is just a few miles further down FR 475, for another delightful hike and waterfall stop. this is also a wonderful Mountain Bike Loop.
