The Huntington Library is a museum and research institution with gardens encompassing 120 acres. If you want to take a stroll through some beautiful gardens, I suggest taking half a day to check out the Huntington Library!

One of the world’s great cultural, research, and educational centers, A private, nonprofit institution, The Huntington was founded in 1919 by Henry E. Huntington, an exceptional businessman who built a financial empire that included railroad companies, utilities, and real estate holdings in Southern California. The Library is famous for its collections of the nation's founders, especially the papers of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. In botanic garden, you can explore living collections of orchids and camellias, a botanical conservatory, fragrant rose garden, childrens's garden and more, in 16 themed gardens spread over 120 acres. A day is not enough to see all the Huntington library and botanical garden can offer to show.

The most beautiful botanical garden I have ever been to. Must see the succulents, Chinese Garden, and Japanese garden.

Each gallery features comprehensive collections comprised of literature and artwork spanning many centuries and sourced from America and Europe. After exploring the library’s indoor exhibits, most guests take a leisurely stroll through the fantastic botanical gardens that sprawl across more than 100 acres and include plants, trees, and flowers from all over the world. The library and gardens are located in San Marino, about 20 minutes northeast of Boyle Heights.
