The Finca de la Concepción (Concepción country estate) is one of most beautiful and important tropical and subtropical gardens of Spain and one of the most appreciated ones in the whole of Europe. Created around 1855 by the Marquises of Casa Loring, it was expanded some years later by the second owners, the Echevarría–Echevarrieta family. It was officially declared a Historic and Artistic Garden (currently a "Bien de Interés Cultural" (Heritage of Cultural Interest) in 1943.

Admission: €5.20 Bus line 2 will take you from the Alameda Principal stop to the terminus.From here it’s a fifteen minute walk to the park. The beautifully maintained ‘Jardin de la Concepción’ is about six kilometres North of Malaga city centre and is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful tropical gardens. This botanical garden of more than 23 acres is over 150 years old. It was originally privately owned by the Marquis of Casa Loring and was later acquired by a wealthy family from Bilbao, before being purchased by the city of Malaga in 1990.
