OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. We will take photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. Approximate flight time is 40 mins Expect a cancellation if there is bad weather. Only two passengers are allowed per ride to create a guest-focused experience.

This is a private, hosted experience for a total of 2 hours. You should be an outdoor enthusiast for this experience. This is not a spa. We meet at the nursery greenhouse where we grow desert plants. Then take a short walk through the desert, perhaps encountering some wildlife on our way to a small private water feature where you will experience natural hot springs from deep within the San Andreas fault. Conversation will include how the hot springs occur, local wildlife, plants, geographic points of interest, and other interesting information regarding the sanctuary and surrounding areas. Then Reset and connect with Mother Earth as Panoramic desert views enhance this meditative western sunset. This is a private and primitive Off grid ritual. Take in stunning views of the High Desert of the Mojave, accompanied by goats. We’ll meet our 15 friendly Nubian goats in their pens. They’ll wait for us to open their gate, and then these loving animals will show us the way. We’ll follow the herd at an easy pace into desert washes and onto boulders, where we’ll find beautiful spots to sit and chat—or simply gaze into the silence of the landscape, the gaping sky, and the goats enjoying themselves. We’ll walk about three miles and return with the goats after the sunset. Other things to note No phone connection the last 4.7 miles of dirt roads ( easy access :) & @ The Farm Long pants & suitable shoes for hiking are essential. Sun protection and hat. Plenty of water. Guests will be transported from a centrally-located site in San Diego county to the international border in San Ysidro. With a Permit application already completed by host from information provided by guests, crossing the border will be cut from a potential 1 hour to about 10 minutes. Along with a brief historical account and cultural explanation, the experience will include a visit to the Friendship Park, a stroll through historic Revolucion street, as well as a the visit to several iconic areas of the city which will lead to a better understanding of its development. Visitors will also explore a colorful local market, where they will interact with local vendors, learn about, and have the opportunity to sample indigenous foods. The tour will conclude with a visit to a local food court where guests will have the opportunity to savor Tijuana's fusion cuisine, also known as Baja-Med. Finally, they will be driven to the international border, picked up and taken back to the original meeting location in San Diego. The host will escort guests the entire time. Other things to note -Valid passport ** Due to the recent re-opening of the border, the wait to come back to the US has been unusually long. Please expect to wait between 1.5 - 2 hours.

You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment. Our desert journey will begin with a Llama greet and treat at the ranch. Our fabulous llama quartet will gather around to say hello. At first you will be astounded at their size and strangeness, but as I have seen time and time again, your reservations begin to melt away and our beautiful and majestic llamas will charm you with their gregariousness, and curiosity. One of our Llama's will be harnessed and ready to go on our 2 mile desert walk, this usually takes anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes long. The rest the time we will Back in the corral with all four llamas and the two goats for you to have some more together time back in the corral with all four llamas and the two goats. Vast open views of our scenic desert include Joshua Tree mountain range, Johnson Valley, and the ancient Black Mesa. As you walk with Llama, you will be amazed at the variety of plants and creatures you will see. From the prehistoric Creosote, and the majestic Joshua Trees, cuddly teddy bear cactus, to the miner's lettuce, Yucca fruit and other seasonal edible desert plants, our Master gardener desert docent, and Lllama extraordinaire will unlock the ancient mysteries of the desert for you. La Jolla Bay is a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving ecosystem that boasts a high concentration of sea life, has a natural boat launch, which allows safe ocean entry year-round, and is famous for its Sea Caves and Marine Reserve. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. Joshua tree is a powerful vortex of energy, that cannot be fully experienced unless you tap in to your power of meditation. I am offering an hour of meditation, breath work, sound healing and other relaxing techniques in the desert. As humans we are a microcosm of the macrocosm. When you go on a horseback ride with a string horse venue, they typically don’t teach you anything about the horse or how to ride a horse or any of that. Typically the horses are all saddled up, ready to go, and you’ll get any opportunity to know them, or to understand them. That is where we are different and I think it’s very important…to know the horse that you ride. Horses are intuitive and loving.

Join this local hiking guide on one of my favorite hidden hikes in the Big Bear area. I have been trekking through the San Bernardino National Forest for 30 years, learning about the flora and fauna of this wilderness, and I even have some tales of local history to share with my guests. We will meet at one of my favorite scenic trails for a two-hour hike in the beautiful Big Bear Valley. At some point on this tour, we will stop at a scenic place for hot chocolate or lemonade. I can cater this hike to how much you want to sweat, if you want to do an easy, moderate or hard hike, just let me know. Longer hikes are available, please inquire about pricing. My goal is to make sure that you have an unforgettable visit to the Big Bear area. I love answering questions about other fun things to do in Big Bear. I hope that you leave with tons of photos (I will take the photos if requested and then give them to you via your phone). Kids are totally invited on this hike if they are okay with the elevation gain. Dogs are always invited on leash. This is a great experience for groups and team building.

A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! We will enjoy a nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. This experience is great for groups and great for teams! We love to host private and corporate groups, and socializing with the dogs is great for team-building! Other things to note: We will be in direct sun, so bring sunscreen and other protective wear. There are no bathrooms in Runyon Canyon. Your friendly dog is welcome to join us! Street parking is very difficult.

High Horse Malibu offers private horseback rides in one of the most secluded and scenic areas in Malibu! Our trails traverse rolling hills, wooded canyons, and striking rock formations, with sweeping ocean vistas around every corner! A one of a kind experience you won't forget. Right after you book you'll receive an email from us collecting some basic info (physical stats, riding experience, etc.) so that we have the perfect horses tacked and ready when you arrive. Upon arrival you'll be introduced to your guide and acquainted with your horse. We start every ride off with a ten to fifteen minute riding lesson to get you comfortable and confidant. When everyone feels good - we hit the trail! There are plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the ride. Our goal is for everyone who rides with us to leave with an appreciation for horses and a love of riding! Things to note: If you plan to take an Uber or other ride share service - please make arrangements for pick up prior to being dropped off. It is difficult (sometimes impossible) to get cell service at the ranch depending on your provider. The rider weight limit is 200lbs. Exceptions made for riders over 6ft tall. You must be at least 8 years old to ride.
