We enjoy hiking here year-round. We also love that it's set on Percy Priest Lake. There are some decent views, and there is also a picnic area with grills that we've used.

Of the two lakes within Mt. Juliet and Nashville, we much prefer Percy Priest. It is less crowded, depending on where you go, and it's much cleaner!
