($$$) It's the best Persian food you'll ever have in Atlanta. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing for lunch/dinner - and not to mention - perfect for a date night. It's located in a lovely area (Sandy Springs). It's classy and considered to be fine dining. My favorite dish is the Koobideh Kabab. Plate sizes are huge and I always end up taking some home or just splitting the plate with a friend. Their tea is a must try and appetizers (kashk bademjoon) are delicious.

1065 Peachtree St NE($$) Honestly, best desserts in town in a European style cafe. Very affordable too! Their cheesecake's are to die for and their coffee/tea selection is so delicious. This is my most visited dessert spot. They're open late too so it's perfect atmosphere for an outing with friends, family, or a date. I recommend their desserts the most. 210 Peachtree St NW($$$$) Upper-scale restaurant in the Westin Hotel featuring the BEST city views in town. About 70 floors above Atlanta. Great for a date and great for photographers/bloggers. My favorite time to go is about an hour before sunset.
($) About 6 minutes from my house. It's also close to Chamblee station (train station near me). This cafe has a lovely atmosphere and it's well-designed. Perfect coffee shop to hang out, go on a date, meet a business partner, study, or relax. I love their bubble tea, Korean baked goods, and desserts. Really affordable, prices similar to Starbucks.

3185 Avalon Blvd($$) BEST PIZZA IN GEORGIA! Authentic Italian taste.
($$$$) Many say this is the best sushi place in Atlanta. It's a bit pricey - yet worth it. Great for a girls night out or a fun date night. Make sure to book a reservation in advance because they're very busy.

Visit the Philips Arena for a Hawks Basketball game in the fall/winter. They also have a lot of concerts going on there so check it online. It's right next to CNN Center. I recommend going early if you want to find affordable parking or even better - taking the train/uber to avoid parking all together. $10 to $20 for parking, but rates go up depending on the popularity of the event nearby.

1 State Farm DrVisit the Philips Arena for a Hawks Basketball game in the fall/winter. They also have a lot of concerts going on there so check it online. It's right next to CNN Center. I recommend going early if you want to find affordable parking or even better - taking the train/uber to avoid parking all together. $10 to $20 for parking, but rates go up depending on the popularity of the event nearby.

Parks & Nature
FREE. Piedmont Park is such a fun and iconic place to visit in Atlanta. So many movies are filmed here. During the summer, there are lots of festivals. You should go here if you want to get away from tourists, yet still enjoy one of Atlanta's most popular locations in Midtown. They have bike rentals for about 6-12$ per hour. Next to it will be the iconic Beltline, Atlanta's most amazing walking trail.

Serenbe is not just a typical farm with animals, it's a full on neighborhood built with lovely restaurants, cafe's, a bookstore, local boutiques, and beautiful homes.
They have beautiful trails. And best part, everything in the community is walking distance. :)

I love this mall because it's not as crowded as Lenox, yet just as great and chic. Love the Perimeter area too - It's filled with awesome restaurants, cafe's, and brunch spots. There aren't many tourists - It's safe and not as busy as the midtown/downtown areas.

Honestly Avalon is my favorite outdoor shopping center. It's pretty newly to the Alpharetta area. They have upper-scale shops, the best movie theater in town, amazing restaurants, and a lovely ice-skating rink in the winter.
It's great if you're looking to spend the afternoon or evening in one spot without having to drive/uber all around town.
My favorite restaurants there are definetly Antico's (best pizza and gelato) and Ted's Montana Grill (Yummiest burgers ever!).

This is the closest mall to me. It's smaller than the other malls. It's meant for last-minute shopping - just to pick up what you need. However, it has the best eyebrow threading place in town called "The Arches" and it is only 4 minutes away. It's walking distance too.

This is a new museum that just opened up. Ok, I'm not a big history person at all but I loved it. It was a very modern and artistic take on Civil Rights. The museum was interactive, had *interesting* information and even included information about Civil Rights issues going on right now (refugee crisis, Black Lives Matter, etc.) so I thought it was relevant. This museum is the first museum that included an equal and non-bias distribution of information about civil rights issues in countries all around the world (from Palestine, Syria, and the Middle East to Africa, Europe, and the U.S.). Tickets aren't too bad. Student discount available.
