The Sandbar and Restaurant is a top spot for a cold beverage the restaurant has been very good whenever we have visited. Cuisine is modern Australian with Seafood always being the highlight for us. definitely worth a visit. the sandpit cafe downstairs also does a cracking bacon and egg burger that goes down really well after a morning swim.

A great beach to explore and play with the kids or go out for a surf. The creek at the Northern end of the beach its heaps of fun to play in and don't forget to take your hiking shoes for one of the famous headland walks.

If you have some spare time consider taking a day trip to Angourie, the Blue Pools are such a great experience, whether you are happy to just swim, or you prefer to dive from one of the high ledges, its a great day for adults and kids alike. the beach there is also beautiful .
