Hiking
One of my personal favourite hikes in the area, the Pushwalla Palms Loop is rated moderate yet offers spectacular views across the desert and over the desert cities. Enjoy walking along an open desert ridge before exploring a secluded oasis. This is the perfect morning hike before heading back to the resort for some afternoon pool time.
Please note: this hike is great for families or baby carrying, but please be aware that the ridge is natural and offers plenty of drop offs past the trail area. Also, be sure to bring plenty of water and dress for the sun and for any seasonal dangers.
Pushawalla Palms

Shop before you arrive
When arriving in the area, it is strongly recommended to pickup any "must haves" (ie. groceries) on the way so you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing start to your vacation.
However, if you don’t wish to stop, Instacart does deliver from Stater Brothers and Vons.
Once you are at the resort, its a 25 minute drive to Costco, Walmart, and various other grocery stores. There is a convenience store located 10 minutes away, as well as a delectable "hole in the wall" date shake shop 17 minutes down the road at the corner of Dillon Rd and Indian Canyon Drive.

One of the local specialities that you absolutely must try is a Date Shake. They are available at a number of locations across the valley, but you will find the more touristy locations are priced accordingly. However, you can score one of these delectable treats for a better price at the little "hole in the wall" convenience store 17 minutes down the road in North Palm Springs at the corner of Dillon Rd and Indian Canyon Drive.
