Great place for pictures -- obviously. Iconic Hollywood landmark. Only 3 miles away from the apartment. Lots of tourists. Busy on weekends. I would advise you to go early on a weekday for a smaller crowd.

Historic Carroll street is just minutes away from the apartment and has several houses that have been featured in other major Hollywood productions such as the house used in The Fast and the Furious, and the house used in Michael Jackson's Thriller video.
