My favorite golf courses
List of golf courses I recommend in Coachella Valley for all skill level. List contains only courses I’ve played so I’ll keep adding as I try out new clubs. For reference, I’m a 12 hdcp
My favorite course in CV. Classic Arnold Palmer design with lots of strategically placed bunkers. If the winds kick up then you’ll experience a different course.
Check the weather forecast since this course can get windy. I personally love playing when it’s windy since it adds a different challenge.

Some of the holes feels like it was carved right into the mountain. Good combination of resort style holes and challenging holes carved into the mountainside. Worth it just for the views

Wide fairways allows you to bomb away, but bring your short game as the greens can be quite fast. One of the better values for golf in CV in my opinion

Check for daily deals on course website for discounted rates. Restaurant has really cool architecture and views and worth going for brunch even if not playing. Only downside is that there are hitting nets but not a proper driving range

Sightseeing
So much history at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Many of the volunteers are vets and have a ton of great information. Great for the whole family regardless of if you’re into military history or not. You can even take a flight in one of the historical planes

I love that this zoo is focused on animals living in similar desert climates. There’s a new rhino exhibit and giraffe feeding too

Interesting and sad piece of Americana. It’s no longer a resort town, but it’s been turned into an artist colony with some fascinating artwork. Suggest staying out of the water

Easy hike for all abilities. Multiple paths to choose from. Round trip to the Palm Desert Cross is 3 miles. You get a nice workout and views

Great street tacos. Go next door to their butcher shop and grocery store to get marinated carne asada, chorizo and other meats to grill at home. They sell homemade tortillas and salsas too

Sandfish and it’s sister restaurant Venue in Palm Desert are both great. Omakase seems pricy but it’s actually a really good value assuming you’re hungry. If you’re ordering ala cart, highly recommend the Hamachi Kama (yellowtail Tuna collar).
