When you are not planning to "do" the full Portes du Soleil opt for a SuperMorzine and Avoriaz only pass, this will give you already plenty of fun! Be aware this does not include the Pleney-side of Morzine.

At less than an hour drive you'll find the medieval town of Yvoire. In winter you might not find all small shops open, but still worth for a walk in this small beautiful town and views of Lake Geneva.

THE capital of watch making! In little over an hour you drive to the centre of Geneva - great views on the lake and shop till you drop.
My advise, make sure you hit the road after 8.30h from Morzine to avoid the work-traffic and dont make your way back between 16.30 and 18.30.

You want to see something else than Morzine? Chamonix is also a lot of fun when not enjoying the snow. Plenty of small boutiques and restaurants to spend your time, and don't forget the fantastic view of the impressive Mt. Blanc

The busstop (Line C/Blue) is about 200m from the apartment. One up from the road (Croix du Milieu), one down from the road (Le pied de la Croix) about the same distance.
