Tijuana
Passport required. Explore Northern Mexico's border town, Tijuana. You can walk or drive across the border to Calle de Revolution, or the Telefonica restaurant group for local tacos and food. An hour south of Tijuana, there is Puerto Nuevo for fresh lobsters, and the Via de Guadalupe is about two hours South of Tijuana. Reservations are recommended in the Via de Guadalupe wine country.
This area has grown in the past ten years. Little Italy is home to may great restaurants, ice cream shops, and bars.

Seaworld is a perfect event for the kids and adults!
Go visit the Hotel del Coronado for its history and beauty. Recently remodeled, it was built in 1888 and has so much history. Many movies were filmed there and you may see celebrities too. Five restaurants on property and great sunset views along the ocean.

Julian, CA is home to famous pies and cider! Great getaway to the San Diego mountains for a day. Julian is located about an hour East of San Diego. Be careful in the winter as they may get snow and have snowy conditions.
