A 20-minute drive to an amazing hike (not easy, but worth it) that gets you to see beautiful views of downtown as well as the entire mountain range, it is absolutely the best view from inside the city. You have to go up the gravel drive but when you get to the top there is just you and the breathtaking view of the mountains! One of my favorites!

Another gem, it is also a 20-minute drive and the views are good but this is about being emersed in nature and getting a great hike in! If you do the entire thing it is amazing, there is an enchanted forest, also not for the light-hearted, and winter can be tricky so don't go if you are not experienced or don't have the gear. There are a few shorter trails that are totally doable in half an hour, that is why I like this one, it is like a choose your own adventure! Bikes do this one though so read the signs and be safe!
