The neighborhood holds many activities and quite a few fun places to visit. This neighborhood is very safe and excellent for walking through the quiet streets.
Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find is a great comic book store, carrying a massive collection of books and graphic novels. You could also visit The Visulite Theatre to take in some live music and comedy performances. As a largely residential area, there isn’t too much bustle, but the nightlife can still be quite enjoyable. Plus, there are small cafés tucked here and there. You will also find homes that have been renovated into shops or restaurants like Caswell Station.
Elizabeth also offers cool options if you would rather have some outdoor time. Take a break at Independence or Elizabeth Park to enjoy its amenities or just have some quiet time.

The BEST Italian food we have had in years! Brand new restaurant in NoDa that we have absolutely fallen in love with! Highly recommend!

Villani's Bakery has the best New York - Italian style deserts! Every single item here is delicious! My wife and I go weekly for a cannoli or two... or three... or four. Some other items on the menu to checkout is the Napoleon, Italian cookies, cream puffs, and turnovers.

Great museum. Nice variety of exhibits with a wide range of subjects and mediums (photography, painting, sculpture). Sometimes there is a Groupon for the tickets, so be on the lookout for that. Parking in the garage below is $5 on weekends.

The Lynx Line is one of the best public transport systems in Charlotte. You will need to purchase your tickets on the app, "CATS Pass" or a local vending machine on the station platform. Rides are $2.20 one way and are operate every twenty minutes from 5 a.m to 2 a.m, seven days a week.
