The famous Salt Creek Beach at Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel
Park on a bluff overlooking the beach and ocean, with the Ritz above on top of the cliff. Summertime restaurant on the beach, miles long paved trail.
Head down the hill by making a right turn onto Crown Valley Parkway. Turn Left onto PCH and immediately get into right lane…look for the Fitz Carlton lighthouse at entrance or parking lot. Parking is only $1 per hour! Self pay….walk under tunnel or down the stairs to the gorgeous green and lush bluff lawn! From there walk down to the beach by way of many steps and paths….ride a bike, walk or job on the miles long path! Look up and to your left to find the Ritz, open to the public. Take a walk up the many stairs or hop on the little golf cart shuttle to the Ritz and have a drink outside overlooking the ocean at 180 Blue.

Shops, restaurants, lively! Beach, volleyball, boardwalk, Heisler Park….a must see! Research online for parking in Laguna Main Beach before you go!

Park in Trancas parking lot to hop on the $2 trolley or walk down…..yes it is expensive, 10-15 dollars so plan on staying a while to play on the beach and walk around this tiny historic restaurant village where Giligans Island and Gigit were filmed along with many other movies. …The Beachcomber Restaurant validates for parking which helps!). They raise the martini flag and blow the horn each day at 5pm!
Once in the village take the stairs to top of cliff for a burger or shake at Ruby’s Shake Shack outdoor eating with an incredible view of the ocean! Go back down to the beach to explore the tide pools.
