This is my favorite restaurant. It's a fifteen minute drive from the house. They are open late during the week and even later on weekends. Sushi is very good and inexpensive. My favorites are tootsie roll, tuna symphony, and Carashi Bowl.

This place has the best barbeque in Charlotte located about 8 mins from the house. It's dining room is very basic but the food is great. Lew is also the owner of Dish on Thomas St.

I only recommend this place if you are just looking to drink at a iconic neighborhood dive bar. Cool place to see locals. They have food but I don't recommend it, unless you get tater tots with chili and cheese on it.

Cool place to go at least once. Skinny bar reminds me of ones in Nashville. Place to be seen or say you've been there. Has views of uptown.
