Speakeasy/Craft Cocktails
The speakeasy scene is trending nationwide. These hidden cocktail lounges and restaurants are some of my favorite, and arguably among the best in the nation.
If you are into high end, hand crafted cocktails or cigars, this is hands-down one of the coolest experiences you will find. 
You’ll find this location as inconspicuous as they come. Approach the red phone booth, go inside, and dial the secret number of the rotary phone. When you get it right, the door back wall of the booth will open, gaining you access to the speakeasy.
Here’s the catch, they don’t give out the number, and it changes regularly. Luckily for you, I am a member and can gain you priority access any time. Message me if you are interested.

Pinewood is one of my absolute favorite places. The food is excellent (Check out their weekend brunch), craft cocktails are amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect. I love it. They even have one of Nashville’s finest coffee shops inside.
Looking for more than food and drink? Pinewood has a bowling alley, outdoor games and hangout, and even small wading pools to hang out in and around out back.
This is a must see, but I also highly recommend reservations. It is often very difficult to get in otherwise. (Especially on the weekend)

Great food, classy, well seasoned performers, well balanced audio so it’s not too loud. This is one of the few places that likely pays their artists, so the music quality is amazing. And, unlike Broadway, you’ll actually get an incredible meal.

Just a couple blocks from your apartment, and worth the visit. Great food, good drinks, great atmosphere. This is a good one for brunch. Not as busy as many Nashville hotspots, but reservations are always recommended.

Martin’s is a great location for BBQ and live entertainment. It’s located just one block from your building. Get those early for prime times, especially on the weekend, to avoid long lines.

Broadway has countless options for music, drinks, entertainment, 7 days a week, rain or shine, all hours of the day. Walk the strip and enter whatever bars have music or atmosphere of your liking. Be sure to explore the additional floors of each establishment to find different artists/atmosphere/menu on each level. Many have rooftops as well.
Broadway can get pretty wild, especially in the evenings and weekends. This is the location most travelers are looking for, but may not be your vibe later in the evening. Walking the stretch may sound loud from the street, but be aware, many have acoustic or lighter music one at least one level inside.
Have fun, and be safe. Make good choices. :)

Craft Coffee
Don’t waste your time or money on fast food coffee like Starbucks. ESPECIALLY when their are incredible, locally owned shops who know the craft of coffee. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Frothy Monkey is a Nashville staple, and very popular. This location is the one you’d want to visit. A short drive or Uber ride from downtown, but also among many of Nashville’s “must see” locations and photos ops.

Brand new “mall” right on Broadway, and just down from your apartment. This is a great place to grab some food, a drink, or do a little shopping. I would call this more of an outdoor shopping and eatery district rather than a mall. Cool spot.
