Sightseeing
"George Bass coastal walk". Shelley Beach Carpark is an access point at Kilcunda to Punchbowl rd San Remo. At the carpark when your facing the beach, you want to take the track to your right.
Half day walk return, stunning views. Takes you across farmland and onto secluded beaches. Check tide times, as you will need to access the beach during parts of the walk.

Inverloch is a 25 minute drive from Poowong. It has plenty of options for eating out but I love getting fish and chips and heading to Anderson inlet. Great for a swim or a walk along the sand at low tide gorgeous and calm. " Bunurong marine national park" has amazing scenery as you drive along cape Paterson Inverloch road you can stop and explore " Eagles nest" and " The caves". Inverloch also has a patrolled surf beach( seasonal) if you want to borrow the boogie boards and have some fun in the waves! Before you go drop into
" Gusto" for ice cream.

Inverloch

Loch Village is a short drive from Poowong and boasts unique cafes and shops. " Loch Grocer" is a must visit for coffee, local produce and light meals. The " Loch Gin distillery and brewery" is also a real treat. The town also has antique store, gift shop and much more. " Gippsland wine company" is located just outside the township with cellar door and wine tastings.

"Gurneys" is a family owned and run cidery , 2 mins from the gorgeous township of Foster. You can sample 6 of their seasonal ciders and snack on a platter while taking in the gorgeous views of the Prom.
