The Kiama Blowhole is located 20 minutes north of the cottage. When it's blowing, it's quite a sight, and great fun for all ages. There is parking right at the blowhole. There is a also a lovely coastal walking track, as well as many great cafes in the main street of Kiama.

A car is essential
There is a train station located in Berry, but Berry is the second last station on the southbound line.
The Berry/Shoalhaven Heads area does have a taxi but its service is sometimes limited. If you require a taxi, we recommend booking in advance - contact them on 4464 3181.
The roads surrounding our property are very popular with cyclists. Guests can bring their bikes with them and store them outside the cottage - the property is very safe.

Guests may be interested in The Entertainment Book which is a digital membership that offers a few dining discounts, as well as discounts with a few local retailers. Annual memberships as well as holiday memberships can be purchased - the Wollongong book is the one you need to select. We purchase the book each year and we save hundreds.

A portacot and high chair are both available for free upon request. The cottage also has plastic bowls, plates, cups (without lids) and cutlery for kids.
Many parents have commented that they love our minimalist decor, as they haven't had to worry about their children breaking things!
