He is the chef and I am a foodie and We are environmentalists! We are on solar, have rain barrels, on the Gray Water Project for Long Beach and we recycle everything. We will request from you from you one thing. please separate your recyclables so that we can donate the plastic and the cans only to a woman who lives here in the area and lives on $500 a month . I've been in the restaurant and hospitality business for over 30 years. I hold a Certified Specialist of Wine certificate with the Gallo Wine Institute. my partner created the Garden you see and just about everything else here on the property. He is extremely talented! I love recommending restaurants and places to see in Long Beach and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend Groupon for discounts.
We actively protect the environment in the following ways:

Catalina is good for a day trip. It's 26.2 nautical miles from Long Beach. On the way you sometimes get to see dolphins and whales breaching! Makes it special! They do have specials on Groupon sometimes. I recommend Catalina because I love it there. I like Luau Larry's and get my Wiki whacked... you'll see when you get there. I love going to the other side of the casino, sitting outside and looking at the ocean... it's just beautiful. You can always rent a golf cart and drive around the island.

Drive south along Pacific Coast Highway to see our famous Huntington Beach, where they have surfing competitions. There's also Newport Beach, home of lots of TV drama and Laguna Beach... very laid-back and extremely beautiful! I highly recommend going to the Surf and Sand hotel and having a cocktail there - it's about an hour away. Laguna Beach is also known for Pageant of the Masters and The Sawdust Festival -- and I highly recommend both of them!
For a longer drive, head north into Santa Barbara or Big Sur - they're both beautiful. Don't miss the art fair which takes place every Sunday along the main beach in Santa Barbara.

it's whale watching season! Get out there use Groupon! and see the whales are absolutely Majestic! I've seen dolphins, whales orcas, seals!!! Simply by going out on the boat!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
