Narrawallee is kid and dog friendly, here dogs are allowed off-leash from 4pm – 8am -(1 October – 30 April) and 3pm – 10am (1 May – 30 September) and on-leash the rest of the time.
Narrawallee also ranks in the Top 20 of the Best 101 Australian Beaches, so it is definitely worth a visit!

Narrawallee Beach

At the northern end of Narrawallee 18min walk or 4 min drive is the inlet creek area (unfortunately not dog-friendly) this is a fantastic picnic area popular with families for its BBQ facilities and the peaceful inlet where you can kayak, paddle board or the kids can swim in shallow safe waters. Make sure to bring a snorkel and the fishing rod!
There is also a gravel ramp for light boats situated in Normandy Street into the inlet.
Not to mention at the inlet carpark is the best coffee in town @hellohueycaravan
Narrawallee Creek

Matron Porter Reserve and Kids playgrounds
If you just want a relaxing day with the kiddos with a picnic and some activities for them to enjoy, head down to Matron Porter Reserve where you will find playgrounds in a large nature reserve right next to the beach. Coin operated BBQ are there as well. Plenty of area for the kids and dogs to run around.
