Vast views of the San Fernando Valley and a small picnic area. Bring your camera. It’s the early vista point on Topanga Canyon Blvd. before you get deep into the mountains. (That drive is stunning, and in 15 more minutes if it’s not rush hour, you end up in Malibu which is a great place to hang out.)

There are parking lots in the area which you can find by driving around the area near the Walk of Fame. It costs maybe $6-10 typically (if we recall correctly).

Also, take photos of the view of LA on the tram ride.
