Hands down the best view along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Take a short .7 mile hike there and back to get stunning 360 degree views. It’s a bit of a drive from the house but the views are my favorite and totally worth the drive.

It serves sandwiches in a large outdoor and indoor seating area. I like to start here, have a wine tasting, get some lunch and views, then keep the parking space (parking is otherwise limited on the strip ) and walk the short strip to check out the cute shops along the river.
