This is one of our favorites in the area. It's a wine bar with some great beer and hard kombucha options. The menu includes the best charcuterie boards in the area, great soups, fries, innovative main dishes and we hear their brunch is incredible. The atmosphere is cozy farm-house.

A hidden gem in Dana Point, Café Maison is found in a strip mall but don't let that deter you. The food is masterfully prepared and presented, hardy, beautiful and delicious. Their Ossa Bucco on the dinner menu is to die for.

Beautiful atmosphere with huge open windows for a lovely dose of fresh air. I like to do their small bites for a light lunch (they also have beautifully crafted espresso drinks). Dinners are by reservation only, and several courses, a nice place to go big for a special event.

Hands down my favorite brunch spot in all of OC, maybe in all the US! I believe they're only serving a three course brunch these days, but it's well worth the investment! Check out their menu online.

The best coffee in town. They do their own roasting and make all their own flavoring as well as their almond milk, in house. The pastries are ordered from a local baker and the GF donuts are so so good.

Sol Agave is a great place for a dinner with a partner or with friends. We prefer the inside seats after the sun's gone down so you can enjoy the hanging lanterns and cozy seating near the bar. Everything on the menu is beautiful, fresh and creative. We always split the shrimp taquitos along with the margarita flight sampler (the best we've had anywhere) but order anything else and you won't be disappointed.
