This is our number one favourite restaurant in Kiama for special occasion dining out. Sat night is a fixed price degustation menu, so take a good appetite with you. We have never been disappointed here.

Superb location and lovely stylish fitout overlooking Kiama Point Diggies opened in 2020 and has fast become a favourite for coffee, breakfast and lunch.

International quality French style baked goods/patisserie. The Sourdough grain bread is to die for, as are the cheese and bacon sourdough baguettes and all the french tarts, desserts etc are mouthwateringly good. Great coffee too

Olive & Vine has hearty homestyle servings of well prepared food and is a big favourite with Kiama locals and visitors alike. It's a larger restaurant space and as such is very good for large groups and families with kids. We love the duck, the baked barramandi and the hearty salads are a meal in themselves.

It's a larger restaurant space and as such is very good for large groups and families with kids. We love the duck, the baked barramandi and the hearty salads are a meal in themselves.
Great little café in our opinion this is the best coffee in the main street of Kiama, Terralong St. They also have wickedly delicious home baked muffins (OmG the raspberry & white chocolate ). Plus great toasted sangas and light lunches

Only 350m down the hill from Casa Robinson, The Hungry Monkey is the "in" place in Kiama and is much loved for its busy vibe, great coffee, good breakfasts, burgers, & lunches, plus dinners from Wednesday night. Gets very busy tho. Expect to queue up in busy periods.
They have done so well in fact, they have now expanded to open additional locations in Berry, Thirroul and Bowral.

The Hungry Monkey
32 Prince Alfred StOnly 350m down the hill from Casa Robinson, The Hungry Monkey is the "in" place in Kiama and is much loved for its busy vibe, great coffee, good breakfasts, burgers, & lunches, plus dinners from Wednesday night. Gets very busy tho. Expect to queue up in busy periods.
They have done so well in fact, they have now expanded to open additional locations in Berry, Thirroul and Bowral.
We love Vietnamese food and have eaten it a lot over the years in Oz & Vietnam. Hanoi on Manning are great for their authentic flavours & use beautiful fresh exotic herbs.
Favourite dishes include Chicken Pho (soup) especially for lunch, Hanoi spring rolls. duck rice paper rolls, love their vegetarian rice paper rolls, Vietnamese pancake.
Open 6 days for lunch & dinner. (Closed Tuesdays)
Service has been known to be bit curt at times, but just ignore that as the food is generally very good & its almost always packed .
Bummer they don't deliver though.

The owner, Lao, is part Italian, part South American and sources and roasts his own coffee, so he knows a thing or two about coffee! Tasty light meals available too and they sell their beans. These are the beans we buy for our coffee machine at home. They also have a selection of gourmet deli items/local produce, which is something that is lacking in Kiama, as apart from the Farmers Market on Wednesday afternoon at Surf Beach, there is really nowhere to buy these types of items

Takeaway: Really good Thai food cooked from scratch. We have it often for takeaway, as the restaurant itself, although very clean, is pretty basic with not much atmosphere. But good for takeaway and they deliver.

I'm not a massive fan of Indian, but JJ's is pretty good and I love their vegetarian meals, their turmeric rice and breads. Plus they are open on a Sunday and a Monday and they deliver, which is a big plus. If you like Indian, it's worth a try.

Real wood fire pizza owned by a true Italian Pizza master (Orlando) It's as good as the best authentic pizza places in Sydney. While you may not want to travel there and back while you're staying in Kiama, you may want to stop in on your way through some time for a fantastic pizza experience. And definitely NO pineapple allowed. You do need to book tho, as they are always busy.

Fresh Asian fusion food, elegant surroundings and friendly staff are the reasons why we love Wildginger Kiama for a special occasion or just a regular night out. Owner Kieren and his staff cannot do enough to ensure guests are well looked after. We love it here.

In addition to artisan gelato, Scoops do amazing authentic Vietnamese street food to eat in or takeaway. The best Pho soup and Bahn mi ever as well as a range of other vietnamese street foodo delights. We absolutely love their food.

Open for Breakfast Lunch and dinners, the Mod Oz food here is always good, and its location overlooking Black Beach opposite the weekend markets is hard to beat on a sunny day.
