Great classy little Mexican food restaurant! They put a modern twist on traditional Mexican and their quac and queso are both to die for! Also they have a great rooftop patio for summer cocktails if you don't feel like eating - and their margs are great.

The Sugarmill does have amazing baked goods, but it is also a great little lunch and early dinner spot. Their foods is great and their desserts are even better. This spot is also great if you just want a cup of coffee and a muffin for breakfast.

Amazing food and amazing drinks. On the pricey side, but worth it. They are a family style dinner spot that offers everything from gourmet Brussels sprouts to yummy duck dishes. One of my favorites in RiNo. They don't accept reservations so plan to get their early if you don't want to wait.

Don't let the scary exterior fool you. It looks like a scary biker bar on the outside, but is this insanely cute farm to table feeling restaurant on the inside. They also have the best pirogi's in town. AND a super cute interior ambiance to boot. Highly recommend, but don't tell everyone because it's still under the radar in the Denver food scene at this point. This is one of my new favorite spots!!!

They also have the best pirogi's in town. AND a super cute interior ambiance to boot. Highly recommend, but don't tell everyone because it's still under the radar in the Denver food scene at this point. This is one of my new favorite spots!!!

Great little spot, that is walk--able from the house. Awesome beer, great patio, it's dog-friendly inside and out. And overall great place. They have a beer with a shot of espresso in it - try it, it's great!

Great little neighborhood hot spot, walking distance from the house. They have a great patio in the summer, and cozy spot when it's cold. Their food is also really good and relatively inexpensive. Good beer selection as well.

Great little bar with a giant heated outdoor patio for all seasons. They also have the food trucks in to feed you awesome food right on their patio. It's a cool, new little spot, that has become a favorite.

Great little zoo, not so far from the house. It's probably just over a mile away, but if you feel like walking, you can. Otherwise hop on a bus or uber over and it's a great activity for the day, with the kids. Plus it's surrounded by Denver's beautiful City Park.

Better than expected! The Denver Art Museum always has great and interesting exhibits and it's better than you'd expect from a city the size of Denver. Plus their Native American exhibit is awesome and they also have a great section for kids.
