This bar is located downtown in a historic Art Deco building, the space is small but the vintage decor creates a chill intimate atmosphere. Coffee drinks and cocktails are amazing, a bit pricey, but worth. Sorry no dogs allowed.

The South Slope is where most will finish the night, we always recommend starting any brewery tour at one of the breweries on the outskirts of Asheville, like Sierra Nevada or Highland Brewing, and then heading to the South Slope where you can hop from one to the other. Wicked Weed and High Wire are our favorites and the late-night crowd is best at Ben's Tune-Up. Buxton Hall is some of the barbecue Asheville has. Almost all the breweries allow dogs outside so this is a great area to visit with your dog.

About an hour drive, this 3 hour hike (taking it slow) is one of the best and most rewarding hikes in the area! You slowly summit a mountain and get some of the best views in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Bring water and a snack. The tail is popular so you won't feel alone and the hike is best with a dog!
Most of the best hikes and views you will find in the area are on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The closest entrance is near Bent Creek which has great hiking and forest walks, as well as the NC Arboretum. Of course, this activity is great for dogs.
North on the parkway will get you to Mt. Mitchell, the highest point east of the Mississippi, and one of my favorite hikes, hard but very rewarding.
